Our Method
Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first woman to graduate from the University of Rome Medical School and the director of the State Orthophrenic School in Italy, the Montessori method is one of the most widely accepted and proven forms of education. The Montessori philosophy stresses a prepared environment – an environment that is physically and emotionally inviting and supportive.
Our goal at TMI is to maintain the founding principles of Montessori educators, inspired by the developmental needs and characteristics of the child, while remaining committed to the integration of these principles with the changing needs of our time.
