MONTESSORI IS FOR ALL AGES

Some people regard Montessori education to be important only at the Toddler programme (18 months to 3 years) and Children’s House (3 years to 6 years) levels. However, as toddlers evolve into children and children into adolescents and young adults, the Montessori method of education can continue to assist them in becoming exceptional, well-rounded, responsible and self-reliant individuals who will carry a love of learning, self confidence and sense of fair play throughout their lives.

Maria Montessori saw that children held within them something wonderful ~ something so special that it could be the key to changing the world. Maria Montessori believed that if we gave children a strong foundation in education, if we taught them how to interact socially with all age groups and if we taught them to become involved in their communities and environments then we would create more peaceful children who in turn would grow to be more peaceful adults ultimately creating a more peaceful and understanding world. This theory is woven into all aspects of the Montessori method of education.
